The Texas Independent Automotive Association is sponsoring free car checks at Live Green Fest 2009 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 at Olmost Basin Park located at 651 Devine Road in San Antonio.
TIAA will be hooking up scanner tools to cars, checking emmissions, fluid levels and air pressure of tires, and providing free maintenance and repair advice to the public.
"This is a great opportunity to take care of the hundreds of people who take advantage of this event each year to ensure safe transportation for their families," said Wayne Van Den Berghe, TIAA Alamo Chapter president. "And it gives us a chance to spread the news of our professional network of independently-owned auto and collision repair shops across the state of Texas."
TIAA repair & collision shops can be located using the association's convenient "Find A Shop" tool located on www.tiaa.net.
