Texas continues to shoot down high unemployment Wednesday, June 24, 2009 (917 reads)
Texas’ seasonally adjusted unemployment rate rose in May to 7.1 percent and continued to trend well below the national rate of 9.4 percent. The Texas unemployment rate was up from a revised 6.6 percent in April when the U.S. unemployment rate stood at 8.9 percent.

Cash for Clunkers heads to president for approval Saturday, June 20, 2009 (878 reads)
A military spending bill that includes Cash for Clunkers passed Congress June 18, 2009 and now heads to President Barrack Obama for approval. The legislation is meant to remove gas guzzlers off the road that will help the environment. The Texas Independent Automotive Association is not so sure this is a good program for consumers.
